to tell you how much

if i could

but i do and it
drives me insane
to have you not
and to feel this way
its real hard
i miss my babe.

which i so much adore
never will i find anyone
close to you

to replace you,

I was once lost in darkness,
A wandering nomadic fool,
Teetering on the edge of reason,
About to plunge into the abyss,
Then a light shone down,
Lifted me out of darkness,
Touched my soul with grace,
And beat love into my heart,
That was when I met you,
My loving baby,
For so long now you
Have continued to save me,
Day after day,
You gave me the reason to be,
To live and to feel love,
To go on and find my dreams,
As long as you were there,
I just wanted to let you know,
That I could never fully express
How much I feel for you,
When I love you
Seems so simple,
How can you put into words
The power of desire I have for you,
Pray to God,
Channel the muse,
And let my fingers type the words,
My heart beats because of you,
My soul is bright and alive,
Because of you,
And even when the trails of today
Seem to distract me,
My love is always devoted to you,
It is eternal within my heart,

Fears that once were very real

A heart that once was broken
Can now finally mend.
A person once alone in life
Can now call you my baby.
Dreams that once were longed for
Are now all coming true.
The love I once thought was gone
I have now and forever in you.

I am the fiction in reality,
Because illusions ensure calm mentality.
I am the raven in flocks of doves.
The one oblivious to love.
I am the coward fighting for heroes,
Watching my time count down to zero.
I am the bronze behind the gold,
The only word not written in bold.
I am the satellite with the stars.
A touch of them would leave me charred.
Passing by the sun, quietly lurking,
Not solid, not real, not worth searching.
I am the darkness in the light.
It’s better bleak than being blind.
Living in blackness for so long,
I lash out just to move along.
I am the laughter when everyone cries.
Trying to separate truth and lies.
I am the blizzard that blew out the fire,
The cold left all of me haywire.
I am what I am and also what I wish I was not,
The things I cherish and the things unsought.
It’s the very flaws that I cannot dismiss,
That make me who I am, that define all there is.
